This photo shows 727 Victoria St. under construction, while the 1912 houses on the east side of Victoria St. have been completed.
Note Sutro Forest on the north side of Ocean Avenue.

This later photo shows completed 1913 houses on the west side of Victoria St.  The Urban Realty Improvement Company workshop is in the back left.  Mouseover or push and hold to zoom in and scroll. The driver of the automobile with right hand drive may be George Leonard. A horse drawn water tanker is approaching Ocean Avenue.

The 80 foot tall Norfolk Island pines have been removed since this photo was taken.
The El Rey movie theater is empty, awaiting redevelopment.
